Music Celebration : Jazz
Since its creation in 1982, the Festival of Music has traditionally celebrated the summer solstice every night on 21st June. For this occasion at Hotel Le Goéland we offer our hotel and restaurant guests a jazz concert with the band Café Rose Syncopators. The orchestra will play two 45-minute sets: from 8:30 pm to 9:15 pm and from 9:45 pm to 10:30 pm.
In Le Goéland, it is customary to celebrate music. On this occasion, the garden takes on the appearance of a musical stage and is perfectly suited to welcoming an audience composed of the hotel’s guests but also many Porto-Vecchiais who wish to enjoy the exceptional setting of the place, in a calm environment, on the waterfront.
It is a festive evening where you sip a cocktail, and relax, to the sound of the instruments that fill the space with their delicate notes. Chef Satoshi Kubota and his brigade have concocted a special “Fête de la musique” menu made up of local products, chosen over the seasons, which once again reveals delicately balanced Asian influences. The evening will go on smoothly, late into the night.
Jean-Marc Santini and his team do everything they can to ensure that this evening will remain engraved in your holiday memories. Jazz is in the spotlight on the 21st June, for a warm yet refined atmosphere in a setting that can only enchant you….
Pink Coffee Syncopators
Café Rose Syncopators is a jazz group inspired by New Orleans music, where they met. The music they express is lively, moving and timeless. Inspired by the greatest standards such as Louis Armstrong or Sydney Bechet, they also draw a country-blues influence from their American singer, George Aschmann-ideal set in the natural setting of Casa Santini.
The group is composed of 5 musicians :
– Mathieu Viry on clarinet,
– George Aschmann on violin and vocals,
– Alex Conner on guitar and vocals,
– Pierre-Jean Méric on the Double Bass,
– Joë Santoni on the Cornet on guitar and vocals

In Appetizer : Vegetable tartar with Brocciu
followed by a composition of fried shrimps with peanuts, squid and fried onions, “lurons” shrimps, “tex mex” chicken wings all accompanied by melon and watermelon.
Pork tenderloin and caramelized shrimp served with basmati rice and melted onions and tomatoes.
Frozen parfait with olive oil, pineapple salpicon confit with vanilla and green apple and pineapple sorbet.
